BCR, Erste provide EUR 132 mln financing for Scatec wind farm in Romania
Banca Comercială Română (BCR) and Erste Group said they are providing EUR 132 million to finance Scatec’s 77 MW Urleasca onshore wind farm in Romania. BCR is contributing EUR 76 million of the total financing, the bank announced.

Banca Comercială Română (BCR) and Erste Group said they are providing EUR 132 million to finance Scatec’s 77 MW Urleasca onshore wind farm in Romania. BCR is contributing EUR 76 million of the total financing, the bank announced.
Located in Brăila county, approximately 150 kilometers northeast of Bucharest, the wind farm will feature 11 Nordex N175/6.X turbines. Commercial operations are scheduled to begin in the second half of 2028.
