Bucharest City Tour bus attracts over 54,600 tourists this year

The “Bucharest City Tour” tourist bus line has attracted over 54,600 tourists this year, and the amount collected by the Bucharest Public Transport Company RATB from the tickets sold has reached RON 1.28 million (EUR 285,000). Starting today, the line will be suspended because the temperatures have dropped, and the bus deck doesn’t offer favorable conditions during winter. Both the number of tourists, as well as the volume increased compared to last year. In 2015 the Bucharest City Tour line recorded over 42,700 tourists between May 15 and October 13, earning about RON 1 million (EUR 223,000). The tourism line recorded 27,000 tourists in 2011, the year when the project was launched. Their number doubled this year. The Bucharest City Tour line is served by four special double decker buses during the spring-fall season. editor@romania-insider.com
