British Typhoon planes land at Romania's Kogalniceanu Military Base

Four Typhoon aircraft of the British Royal Air Force landed yesterday at the Mihail Kogalniceanu military base in Romania.

According to the Romanian Defense Ministry, some 150 pilots and technical staff with Typhoon aircraft will participate in the conduct of air police missions between May 1 and August 31, along with the MiG-21 LanceR aircraft and the Romanian Air Force soldiers.

The jointly deployed air police missions will contribute to strengthening interoperability between Romanian and British air forces, according to the Romanian Defense Ministry.
