Blue Air launches new route from Cluj-Napoca to Tel Aviv

Blue Air, the largest airline with Romanian private capital, will launch a new route from Cluj-Napoca to Tel Aviv on October 19.

The flights will have a two-week frequency, every Monday and Thursday. Ticket prices start at EUR 38 per flight.

“The flights operated by Blue Air to Tel Aviv are a real success, with very high market demand. The schedule was specifically designed to meet the needs of both weekend and pilgrimage tourists," said Gheorghe Racaru, general manager of Blue Air.

Blue Air destinations from Cluj-Napoca in 2017 include Birmingham, Bucharest, Constanta, Dublin, Hamburg, Iasi, Larnaca, Liverpool, London, Nice, Timisoara and Tel Aviv. The company has 8 operational bases in Bucharest, Bacau, Cluj-Napoca, Constanta, Iasi, Larnaca, Liverpool and Turin.

The Cluj-Napoca airport recorded a traffic of 1.23 million passengers in the first half of this year, up 63% over the same period last year.
