Jakob Hausmann, the owner and chef at the Mica Elvetie restaurant in Bucharest wants to open a second restaurant in the Romanian capital, somewhere downtown. The new restaurant will target a younger audience and the menu will change seasonally, to use fresh ingredients with the right price, said Hausmann.

Mica Elvetie was opened in 1998 and has been running in its current location since 2006. Jakob Hausmann, born in Switzerland, graduated from the Cooking School in Zurich. He came to Romania in 1991 and opened the first Mica Elvetie restaurant.  He has already opened a franchise in Silistra, Bulgaria and is about to open new restaurants in Romania, at Pitesti and Moeciu, according to data on his website. His latest project consists of a Pension and Gastronomic School for the cooking elite.
