Retailer Mega Image has opened Maison des Chefs, its first own-concept restaurant, in the Floreasca area of Bucharest.

The restaurant gathers four corners: Casual Bistro, with a selection of dishes; Arc Bakery, a bakery and pastry corner; Fromagerie, gathering a selection of 135 types of cheese, and Wine Gallery, with a selection of over 200 wines.

Chef Alex Iacob designed the recipes in the Casual Bistro menu. The chef previously worked with Mega Image for the ready meal range Mega Apetit by Chefs. The menu covers the entire range of dishes, from starters and soups to main dishes and desserts. All the ingredients used to prepare the recipes come from the Mega Image range of products.

Lama Arhitectura was in charge with the interior design of the space, while the furniture was designed and produced by UbiKubi.

Maison des Chefs is located on the first floor of the Agora Floresca building, at 111-113 Calea Floreasca.

Mega Image has a network of 677 stores in Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca, Constanţa, Ploieşti, Braşov, Târgovişte, Timișoara and other cities in the country, operating under the Mega Image, Shop&Go, and Gusturi Românești brands. It is part of the international Ahold Delhaize Group.
