OTP Bank finances EUR 28 mln industrial park in Craiova

OTP Bank Romania financed the first private industrial park in Craiova, Southern Romania. The project, called Southern Industrial Park, was developed by Maltese group Zacaria with a EUR 28 million investment. It includes 53,000 sqm of Class A industrial spaces, fully equipped for storing, logistics, cross-docking and production. The park will have three buildings, the first two of which are 80% completed and 75% leased, according to the developer. Zacaria bought this park in 2015. It has a total area of 130,000 sqm and is located next to the Ford factory in Craiova. Zacaria started its activity in Sibiu, in 2005. It started as a residential developer but then expanded into industrial development. It currently has a portfolio of 10 industrial parks and offices with a total area of over 450,000 sqm. editor@romania-insider.com
