Major Romanian medical services provider MedLife posts 4% higher profit in H1
MedLife Group, the leading private medical services provider in Romania, reported a profit of RON 10.9 million (EUR 2.1 mln) for the first half of this year, up 4.4% compared to the same period last year.

MedLife Group, the leading private medical services provider in Romania, reported a profit of RON 10.9 million (EUR 2.1 mln) for the first half of this year, up 4.4% compared to the same period last year.
The group's business remained roughly steady at RON 469.5 mln (EUR 97 mln).
In January-June 2020, the group's operating revenues were RON 471.2 mln, down from RON 472.1 mln in the same period last year, while the operating profit increased by 9.8% to RON 30.8 mln.
As of June 30, 2020, the group's total assets amounted to RON 1.04 billion (EUR 215 mln), up 2.7% compared to the end of last year, while its liabilities amounted to RON 825.8 million (EUR 170 mln), up 1.7%.
The highest revenues were generated by the network of clinics, with sales of RON 142 mln resulting in a share of 30.3% of total group sales. The hospitals generated revenues of RON 104.5 mln, and the dental clinics registered revenues of RON 25.4 mln (-11.6% year-on-year).
