EUR 1.2 bln of logistic and industrial projects are in the pipeline in Romania

Over 900 projects in the industrial-logistics sector are underway, at various stages, in Romania, according to a survey carried out by the consulting company IBC Focus, quoted by Economedia.ro.

The investments required for their realization would be about RON 6 bln (EUR 1.2 bln), but most of the projects are still in their early stages - when they are designed, and permits are collected.

More than half of the monitored investment projects are storage spaces. Specifically, in March, 905 projects were monitored, an increase of 8.7% compared to February. Cumulatively, their area is 2.63 million square meters, and the value of investments amounts to the estimated amount of RON 6.03 bln.

Most of the investments are concentrated in Bihor county, which has a total of 81 projects. Also, a significant number of projects were identified in Ilfov, a county that accumulated 78 investments. At the opposite end are counties such as Mehedinți and Teleorman, with 3 and 4 projects monitored in March.
