Banca Transilvania continues integration of Idea::Bank after takeover

Romania’s largest financial group Banca Transilvania announced the first services made available to the customers of Idea::Bank, as well as the launch of an information microsite.

Banca Transilvania took over Idea::Bank in 2021, and since then, it has been integrating it into its banking system.

The integration of Idea::Bank into the BT Financial Group is in progress until June 13, 2022, when the assignment to Banca Transilvania of the contracts concluded by Idea::Bank with its clients will be completed.

BT plans to turn Idea::Bank into a digital banking hub, going beyond traditional banking. All three entities currently known under the Idea brand will have new corporate identities.

Since April 18, all Idea::Bank customers can use their cards at Transilvania Bank ATMs under the same cost conditions as those charged to Banca Transilvania customers.

At a later stage, starting with May 10 this year, Idea:: Bank customers will receive by e-mail and/or mail personalized information about all the products and services that Banca Transilvania offers, as a result of the assignment of contracts, equivalent to those from Idea::Bank.

From June 14, 2022, Idea::Bank customers who become BT customers will be able to access the products and services exclusively through Banca Transilvania.
