Romanian low cost airline signs interline agreement with state carrier

Romanian low-cost airline Blue Air has signed a bilateral agreement with the state-owned carrier Tarom, by which the private operator extends its operational network and presence in Europe, the Middle East and North Africa.

The agreement has been implemented starting March 15, 2019, according to a Blue Air press release.

The new destinations within reach of Romanian passengers thanks to the new alliance will lead to improved economic performances for both companies, Blue Air said in its release. The passengers will enjoy better connection in exchange, company’s commercial manager Tudor Constantinescu commented.

Blue Air surpassed Tarom as the biggest Romanian airline in 2016.
