A total of 3.86% of the country’s population developed immunity to Covid-19, according to data analyzed by the Public Health Institute (INSP) and the public health departments, Europa FM reported.

A total of 3.86% of the country’s population developed immunity to Covid-19, according to data analyzed by the Public Health Institute (INSP) and the public health departments, Europa FM reported.
“The INSP analyzed 7,832 residual serum samples, out of which 303 were positive, showing an immunity rate of 3.86%,” health minister Nelu Tătaru told Europa FM.
An immunity rate of 5-6% was reported in the countries with a higher number of coronavirus cases, he explained.
Tătaru said the Health Ministry needed some EUR 178 million to carry out tests over the next five months.
This June, the Health Ministry announced almost 30,000 people would be tested in a seroprevalence study to be carried out between June and September of this year.
