Romania is under a rain alert starting Monday morning, August 22. According to the National Meteorological Administration (ANM), the weather will change in Romania, with torrential rains, lightning, and strong wind being forecasted for the entire country until Wednesday, August 24, 06:00.

Such phenomena will first appear in the west, northwest, and mountain areas, and will then take over the other regions as well. The rainfall is expected to exceed 20 liters per sqm in this period, and even 40-50 liters per sqm in some areas.

However, the 3-day weather forecast for Bucharest shows that the temperatures will remain above 30 degrees Celsius in the capital.
