Trooper and Vendetta to perform at Stufstock 2012 in Romanian seaside resort Vama Veche

The marathon open air rock festival on the Black Sea shore Stufstock 2012 will be taking place between July 23 to July 29 in Vama Veche with bands such as Gandul Matei, Vendetta, Perfect Zero for Infinity, Gojira, The Subways, Dub incorporation, Alternosfera and Trooper set to appear.

Gandul Matei got going in 1996 in the Republic of Moldova, over years the line up has changed currently features Nicolae Tarna-voice, Sergiu Iarovoi-guitar, Igor Cristov- keyboards, Sergiu Rusu- bass, Iurie Berdea- drums and Ghenadie Cazac- trumpet. Their first album 'Cu gandul la  ea' ( Thinking of her) was launched in 2000 and enjoyd much success.

Vendetta are a hardcore band from Sofia established in 2001, a band known for their unique style and meaningful songs. They launched their first album in 2005 called 'Friends of God, Enemies of the World', the album received critical acclaim and is considered among the best European examples of the genre. They split up in 2007 and reunited in 2009 when they recorded 'Time of Violence.'

Romanian heavy metal band Trooper are veterans of the rock scene, they've been going for 16 years and have performed with the likes of Scorpions, Whitesnake, Nazareth, Iron Maiden and Judas Priest. After recording a demo in 2001, they gradually gathered more and more fans. They performed for the first time at Stufstock in 2003 and since then they have become regulars at the Black Sea festival.

The tickets can be bought online from biletoo.ro, blt.ro, bilet.ro, myticket.ro and bilete.ro. Single day tickets cost RON 65 and festival passes are priced at RON 99 until July 26 and RON 115 at the festival. More details about the event can be found on the event's site.
