Newly launched project helps tourists discover Transylvania

04 April 2018

Romanians Traian Almasan and Andra Dragomir launched a new project called Travel a la Cluj, which helps tourists discover beautiful places in the famous region of Transylvania.

Starting this month, Travel a la Cluj organizes trips to several places in Transylvania, such as the well known region of Maramures and the city of Sighisoara, or the less known Tara Calatei, Rosia Montana and Salaj.

During these trips, the tourists will eat with the locals and will have the chance to meet local craftsmen and producers. They will also participate in various local events and activities, such as the "Transylvanian Brunch" or the special trips by the old steam train mocanita on Vaserului Valley.

All the announced trips will be organized regardless of the number of registered people. The four trips planned for April are “Maramures just before Easter” – on April 7, “The Romanian Centenary Tour” – April 14, “Gourmet Tour and Roman ruins” – April 21, and the “Transylvanian Brunch and Sighisoara” – April 28.
