TELUS International, one of the world’s largest providers of business process outsourcing (BPO) services, has acquired Voxpro, which offers customer support solutions and is present in the United States, Ireland, Romania and the Philippines.
TELUS International entered the Romanian market in 2012 by acquiring CallPoint, which had a customer support center in Bucharest. At the time CallPoint had 900 employees in Romania and Bulgaria.
TELUS International Europe currently has over 3,500 employees in Romania, Bulgaria and Great Britain.
Voxpro has launched its operations on the Romanian market at the beginning of this year. It has set up a unit in Bucharest, which employs 225 people.
Following the takeover, TELUS International will have almost 28,000 employees.
