17 May 2018

Romanian self-adhesive labels producer Sunimprof Rottaprint announced it plans to open a new logistics center in Hamburg. This will be its second such center in Germany and the third abroad.

“Increasingly more foreign customers choose our services, which is why we will continue to invest in technology, and we are planning to open the second logistics center in Germany,” said Cristi Nechita-Rotta, general manager Sunimprof Rottaprint.

The company is based in Apahida, in Romania’s Cluj county, and currently owns four centers in Romania and two abroad (in Hungary and Germany).

Last year, Sunimprof Rottaprint delivered products in 14 countries across Europe, Asia and the United States, registering a turnover of EUR 20.2 million at group level. Its exports increased by 10% year-on-year in 2017, and by 6% in the first three months of 2018. For the entire year, the group expects to increase exports by 12%.

Also last year, the company saw 21% more foreign clients, which means that 15% of the total of 800 clients were from outside Romania.
