Romania's Petrom organizes first live webcast and analyst conference to present 2013 financial results

Romanian oil and gas company OMV Petrom, listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange, will organize its first webcast to present its yearly financial results. It is not the first time the company has organized such a conference online, but the first time for a company listed locally to use this communication tool.

The live webcast scheduled for Wednesday, February 19, will be followed by a teleconference where analysts and investors will ask questions to the company's CEO Mariana Gheorghe and to the CFO Andreas Matje, the company has announced.

The presentation will be held in English and will be broadcast through a live audio webcast, which can be accessed from the company’s website, www.petrom.com , section Investor Relations>Events>Q4/2013. The online event will start at 16.00 (Romania time) and last for 45 minutes.

Simultaneously with the webcast, the presentation will be also available via conference call. The analysts and investors who wish to participate in the conference call must pre-register by sending an e-mail to investor.relations.petrom@petrom.com by February 18, 16.00pm (local time) / 15.00pm (CET) / 14.00pm (GMT).

Petrom, controlled by Austrian OMV, posted a net profit of some EUR 823 million in the first nine months of 2013, up 27 percent on the same period of 2012. The growth was higher in the third quarter of this year, of 47 percent year-on-year, to some EUR 277 million.
