Romanian tenor Bogdan Mihai to make his debut at Mikhailovsky Theatre in St. Petersburg

Romanian tenor Bogdan Mihai (in picture) will make his debut in the role of Nemorino in the opera “L’Elisir d’Amore” by Gaetano Donizetti, on the great stage of the Mikhailovsky Theatre in St.Petersburg, Russia. The opera will be on February 18, 19:00

The cast of ‘L’Elisir d’Amore’ includes Natalia Mironova – as Adina, Bogdan Mihai – Nemorino, Boris Pinkhasovich – Belcore, Luciano Di Pasquale – Dulcamara, Olga Tolkmit – Giannetta.

Bogdan Mihai started his musical life with violin lessons, but his vocal abilities, discovered by Cristina Magureanu at the Dinu Lipatti Music Highschool, prompted him to train as a baritone.

He has performed on big international stages, such as Stuttgart Staatsoper, Dresden Semperoper, Deutsche Oper Berlin, Theatre du Chatelet (Paris), Garsington Opera Festival (London), St. John’s Smith Square (London). Read more about him here.
