Romanian investment fund SIF Moldova elects new board, banker, entrepreneur among directors

Shareholders of the Romanian investment fund SIF Moldova have recently elected the Board of Directors’ members, for the period between 2013 and 2017.

The elected members of SIF Moldova’s Board of Directors are  Claudiu Doros - the current deputy general manager of SIF Moldova (75 percent of the votes were ‘for’), Costel Ceocea - president and general manager of the investment fund (71 percent),  Horia Ciorcila - in picture (69 percent) - the President of Banca Transilvania, Radu Hanga - the founding member of BT Asset Management (67 percent), Andrei Hrebenciuc - son of the Social Democrat politician Viorel Hrebenciuc (over 52 percent), businessman Octavian Radu (55 percent) and Iancu Catalin - president of OTP Asset Management (over 50 percent).

During the meeting held on April 5, 2013, the shareholders of SIF Moldova also approved the gross dividend of RON 0.24 per share, with 61 percent of the votes.

There are five SIF investment funds in Romania – SIF Muntenia, SIF Moldova, SIF Oltenia, SIF Banat Crisana and SIF Transilvania, all listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BSE). The Romanian investment fund SIF Moldova is listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange under the symbol SIF2.
