Romanian car brand Dacia sold 569 vehicles in the UK in February, up 19.79% year-on-year, when it sold 475 units.

In the first two months of the year, the British car market recorded 241,814 car sales, up 8.3% year-on-year.

Best-selling models were Ford Fiesta, Vauxhall Corsa, Volkswagen Golf, Ford Focus and Nissan Qashqai.

Dacia sold in January and February 2,189 cars in UK, up 18.45% compared to the same period in 2014, when it sold 1,848 units, reports local Capital.ro.

In 2014, Dacia sold 23,862 units on the British market, up 31.17% over 2013, when it registered 17,146 units.

UK is the second largest market in the EU for Dacia, after Germany.
