Local authorities suspended the activity of 15 restaurants and clubs in Bucharest’s Old Town at the end of last week, after finding that the units had no operating permit.

Moreover, some of them had terraces on the public space without a permit while others exceeded the noise level admitted in the area.

They found another 25 companies with various irregularities, and their representatives were invited to the institution’s headquarters for additional checks. In total, authorities verified over 60 companies and applied fines of EUR 45,000.
