The Romanian online advertising market reached EUR 17 million last year, which was 10 percent below the 2008 figure, found a recent report by IAB Romania and PricewaterhouseCoopers Romania. However, compared to 2007, the online advertising market displayed a 53 percent increase. Towards the end of last year, this market segment started to go up again– in the second half of the year it went up by 3 percent on the same period of 2008. The head of IAB Romania, Cristian Petriceanu, expects an increase in the online advertising market for this year, after the end of 2009 revival.
