The Bucharest City Hall signed yesterday the contract with the association of Straco Grup - Tracon - Primacons Group to widen the Fabrica de Glucoza street, an important road connection in the northern Bucharest office district.

The Fabrica de Glucoza street will expand to two lanes on each direction between Calea Floreasca and Petricani Avenue, reports local Economica.net.

The project will also reconfigure the crossroad with the Barbu Vacarescu street, to improve traffic conditions at the entrance to Bucharest on the A3 motorway.

The contract value amounts to over RON 48 million (EUR 10.5 million). Work should be completed in a year and a half.
