New beerhouse to open in Bucharest’s Herastrau park on Friday

09 September 2014

The new Beraria H beerhouse will open this Friday, September 12, in Bucharest with live concerts performed by Romanian bands Holograf and Popa Sapka. The beerhouse is set to be the largest indoor location of this kind in Bucharest and one of the largest in Eastern Europe.

Beraria H will be opened in the former Pavilion H in the Herastrau park, just opposite the Hard Rock Café. It was initially supposed to open in July, but the inauguration was postponed due to delays in the development process.

The opening will be followed by a series of live events in the next two weeks, featuring well known artists and music bands such as Zdob si Zdub, Guess Who, Margineanu, Partizan and others.

Beraria H is owned by three Romanian entrepreneurs, Vlad Dumitru, Iulian Stanciu and Ioana Iancu. Iulian Stanciu is the general manager of eMAG, the largest Romanian online retailer.

The three owners rented out the 4,300 sqm building from Romanians Gabriel Popoviciu and Radu Dimofte, who are the owners of the Baneasa retail and office compound and invested some EUR 2.5 million to set up the beerhouse.

Tickets for the opening event can be purchased for RON 70/EUR 16 (B category) or RON 150/EUR 34 (A category) on iabilet.ro.
