04 August 2015

A new amusement park will open in Bucharest’s Herastrau park, at the end of August this year. The park will host the highest Ferris wheel in Romania, with a diameter of 25 meters, which will be named the Bucharest Wheel.

The park will also include other amusement activities, such as the Spark tower, the Tornado carousel, bumper cars, boats and a train for children, according to Mediafax.

The park will be called Miramagica and will stay open from the end for August until winter. The park’s developer is local firm Britta Trading which specializes in indoor children entertainment.

The new amusement park replaces the old one in Herastrau, which also had a Ferris wheel. The City Hall decided to demolish it in 2014, due to safety and legal reasons.
