Romanian music festivals offer free tickets to recovered COVID-19 patients who donate plasma

14 August 2020

Untold and Neversea, two of the largest music festivals in Romania, launched a campaign aimed at encouraging plasma donation in the country: they offer one-day free tickets to recovered COVID-19 patients who donate plasma to save the lives of those in critical condition.

Plasma donation can also be made at the Blood Network mobile caravans set up in several cities in Romania until September 13.

“Those who will donate plasma at fixed centers in the country will receive, at their choice, a one-day ticket to Untold or Neversea 2021,” the organizers said, according to Stiri.tvr.ro.

Also, those who will donate plasma at the Blood Network caravan will receive RON 100 shopping vouchers from a supermarket chain.

The Blood Donation caravan will be in Bucharest on August 15-16, in Timisoara and Craiova on August 22-23, in Oradea and Targu Mures on August 29-30, in Brasov and Ploiesti on September 5-6, and in Iasi, Sibiu and Bucharest on September 12-13, according to a post on Untold’s Facebook page.

Both Untold and Neversea have decided to postpone this year’s editions by a year because of the coronavirus pandemic.
