Swedish rock metal band Therion will perform in Bucharest on November 22 at Arenele Romane (2 Cutitul de Argint St.) from 19,30 hours. MAP Swedish Loch Vostok and Norwegian band  Leprous will play the opening for the Therion concert.

Tickets will cost RON 85 is bought until November 10, RON 95 until November 21st and RON 110 at the door. There are also 30 VIP tickets available with RON 125 each. Tickets can be bought from Eventim.ro.

This is the second Therion concert in Romania after a performance in 2006. The band is on tour promoting the Sitra Ahra album. Listen to their newest song below.

Therion was formed in Upplands Väsby (a suburb to Stockholm, Sweden) in 1987 by Christofer Johnsson, under the name ”Blitzkrieg”. He was at that time playing the bass and did the vocals. The line-up consisted of Peter Hansson on guitar and Oskar Forss on drums. The current band members are Christofer Johnsson, Thomas Vikström, Johan Koleberg, Nalle Påhlsson, Christian Vidal.
