The Sibiu City Hall plans to build an Aqua Park with minimum three outdoor pools and one indoor Olympic pool with over EUR 10 million.

The park, which will be located in the Dumbrava Forest, will also include a skate park, sports pitches, and parking places, reports local Mediafax.

The complex should also have a hotel and a camping, according to the City Hall. However, these should be built by private investors, if they show interest.

The work on the project could start in August-September, if all goes well, said the Sibiu interim mayor Astrid Fodor.

The City Hall has a budget of over EUR 118 million this year, EUR 37.5 million of which will be spent on development.
