Romanian-born actor Sebastian Stan to star in movie based on Arthur Miller play

Romanian actor Sebastian Stan will star in a movie inspired by the play "A View From The Bridge"of the American playwright Arthur Miller. The Romanian actor has recently starred in the "Black Swan" drama, directed by Darren Aronofsky, where he played alongside Natalie Portman, Mila Kunis and Vincent Cassel. Sebastian Stan was born in 1983 in Constanta, Romania. He moved to New York when he was 12. He has also played in 'Gossip Girl' and in 'Rachel Getting Married'.

In the movie inspired by Miller's play, Anthony LaPaglia will play the lead role and will be co-producer of this film project, which also features actors Mia Wasikowska, Sam Neill and Vera Farmiga. LaPaglia has performed the same role in the play staged on Broadway, for which he was rewarded in 1998 with a Tony Award. Australian origin actor acquired the rights of this play.

The film will be directed by Robert Connolly with whom Anthony LaPaglia has worked in one of the most recent films, "Balibo", released in 2009. The script will be written by Andrew Bovell, who will adapt to the screen the original piece written by Arthur Miller. Filming will begin in Melbourne and will continue in New York.
