Radisson Blu and Park Inn by Radisson hotels in Bucharest offer telemedicine services to their guests

Medicover Romania, one of the largest local private healthcare providers, has signed a partnership with the Radisson Blu Hotel and the Park Inn by Radisson Hotel in Bucharest to provide telemedicine services to guests of the two hotels.

Thus, starting Wednesday, July 15, guests with minor health problems can book remote video consultations. A total of 150 physicians from 20 medical specialties offer video consultations in both English and Romanian, Monday to Sunday between 08:00 and 20:00.

“We are delighted to be the first hotel chain partner of Medicover Romania in this project and provide telemedicine services to our customers at Radisson Blu and Park Inn by Radisson hotels in Bucharest. Our main concern is our guests’ protection and safety in the context of stopping the spread of COVID-19, and this partnership complements our strategy to develop and maintain the highest standards of safety for our customers so that they can feel protected throughout their entire experience at our two hotels,” said Sonja Dive-Dahl, general manager of Radisson Blu Bucharest and Park Inn by Radisson Bucharest.

Tourists with minor health problems who need a specialized medical opinion can contact the hotel’s staff to get all the necessary details to access the telemedicine service provided by Medicover Romania.

Medicover has a network of 36 clinics in Bucharest and Romania and two general hospitals: one in the capital city and another in Oradea. The healthcare provider has developed, together with ATLAS, the first telemedicine platform in Romania: MediCall, where patients can talk to their physician without having to go to a clinic. Shortly afterward, it also launched a second platform: HomeDoctor, a free service for Medicover subscribers.

Radisson Blu Hotel is the largest chain hotel in Bucharest. It belongs to the Radisson Hotel Group, one of the largest hotel groups in the world, with eight distinct hotel brands and over 1,400 hotels worldwide.
