(P) An International Summer Bash – Summer Camp at the American International School of Bucharest

09 February 2016

Summer is the season of adventures and discoveries, of summer friendship and fun. The American International School of Bucharest is opening its gates for all children aged from 3 to 12 years old, who are interested in fun ways of learning English, soccer camp or Lego workshop.

“We will organize a special camp where mornings are dedicated to learning or exploring the English language in a setting where all the activities are entirely held in English”, says Lindsey Etherington, the Summer Camp Coordinator. “The soccer camp, the Young Engineers sessions where children participate in Lego workshops, the arts & crafts workshops, weekly visits to the pool, Bucharest museums and adventure parks as well as interacting with colleagues from other continents or countries are just a few of the entertaining and challenging things which recommend this summer program”, said Lindsey.

The AISB summer camp entitled “An International Summer Bash” will be held on the AISB campus and will include two sessions of two weeks each, between 20th of June -1st of July and between 4th of July-25th of July. We have already started the enrollment process and many students from different countries have joined either the full day program or the half day sessions.

The summer camp fees are as follows:

One session (2 weeks)

  • Full Day (8:30 – 15:00) - 560 Euros
  • Half Day (08.30-12.30) - 300 Euros

Both sessions (1 month)

  • Full Day (8:30 – 15:00) - 1000 Euros
  • Half Day (08.30-12.30) - 560 Euros

While attending the summer camp, students will be served two snacks and one delicious meal (included in the fee). Transportation from/to school will also be available only on request and with additional charges.Summer Camp at the AISB

Dr. Robert Brindley, the American International School of Bucharest Director launched an invitation for anyone who might be interested: “We hope that An International Summer Bash will be the beginning of a new wonderful tradition at AISB. Our school has organized summer camps before but, as of this year, we are initiating an unforgettable experience for both Romanian and other nationalities children. For this program we recruited both local and international teachers as well as some of our students from 11th or 12th grade who are interested in working with children and in the educational sessions included in our summer camp program. You are all invited to join us!”

We have limited places for our summer camp. Don’t waste any time: registration has never been easier, just email cgardescu@aisb.ro with the following details:

  • Name of the child/children
  • The session(s) you would like your child/children to participate in (first two weeks, last two weeks or the whole month)
