(P) Adobe Romania employees can access over $10,000 per year for education

At Adobe Romania, we believe in fostering a culture of learning to drive employee engagement and career growth, and to support the business.

Training sessions are organized every month, for individual contributors as well as managers alike. These courses have a vast range of topics, going from soft-skills and personal development like emotional intelligence, growing creativity and public speaking, to engineering best practices and using different programing languages and frameworks.

Adobe’s Learning Funds

Through Adobe’s Learning Fund, the Company provides funding for education and professional development programs to give employees the opportunity to invest in their career at Adobe.

As part of the Learning Fund, employees have access to financial reimbursement for higher education, certification courses, exams and short-term learning opportunities.

Education Reimbursement

To support employees in their pursuit of continuing education, Adobe's Education Reimbursement benefit reimburses employees $10,000 USD per calendar year for tuition, books and exams for university and degree programs and certain certifications.

$10,000 USD per calendar year for academic degrees, top credential programs, advanced specializations and technical certifications, for example Undergraduate degrees, Graduate/MBA and PhD degrees, Academic certifications and exams.

Professional Development Reimbursement

Adobe also reimburses employees $1,000 USD per calendar year for short-term learning opportunities (such as conferences, workshops, webinars, online learning, business-related books, language courses and professional memberships) directly related to an employee’s career growth at Adobe. The benefit is intended to offset any out-of-pocket expenses incurred by the employee.

Career Management Program (series of online live trainings)

Employees can drive their career at Adobe by discovering their strengths, interests, values and motivations. This learning opportunity actively engages individuals to learn about themselves, their brand and network through activities and exercises. The program covers engaging topics and features special guests, including a leadership panel and an executive speaker.

Learning Outcomes

Understand the connection between emotional intelligence (EQ) and relationships.

Gain awareness of your strengths and how to leverage them for your career success.

Activate your network to create meaningful relationships and mentorship opportunities.

Emerging Leaders in Technology

A one-year program designed to polish innate leadership in Adobe Romania’s employees.

The purpose of this program is to have a reliable and diverse pipeline of internal candidates who are well equipped and motivated to take over future engineering management opportunities at Adobe Romania.

Adobe Romania managers acted as mentors and offered their expertise on people management, engagement, growth, bias, hiring, stress management and leading change.

The program has a curriculum formed of classes, mentorship 1:1 meetings, trainings, recommended books and networking events.

In May 2020, the first batch of colleagues graduated from the Emerging Leaders in Technology Program.

Adobe Capabilities Learning Series (Be Creative, Be Focused, Be a Leader)

Adobe Capabilities — three core actions and behaviors that illuminate how employees will drive Adobe’s business, as well as their own growth and development forward. The Capabilities are how every employee achieves their individual objectives and support their development.

Virtual sessions that apply the Adobe Capabilities to today’s environment and provide employees with skills and resources to help achieve their objectives, now and in the future.

On demand learning platforms

Employees around the world have access to several on-demand learning platforms, free of charge, by using their Adobe credentials: Harvard Manage Mentor, HMM Spark, getAbstract, LinkedIn Learning, O’Reilly, Goldmine.
