Romanian airline Blue Air announced on Wednesday, July 15, that it would launch the Bucharest-Amsterdam route on September 4. 

The flights will be operated daily, and tickets can be booked at prices starting at EUR 20.99, Ziarul Financiar reported.

“By adding this service to and from Amsterdam, Blue Air is consolidating its leading position on the Bucharest market, as AMS is a key destination for both leisure and business travel between the Netherlands and Romania. Moreover, with this new route, we offer additional travel options for the Romanian diaspora that transits one of the largest transcontinental hubs in Europe,” said Krassimir Tanev, Chief Commercial Officer, Blue Air.

Earlier this month, Blue Air also resumed flights to the UK, Spain, Italy, and Belgium. The company announced on July 7 that its flight program, including over 250 flights per week in the next period, is fully operational.
