Reserve in Romania offers bear adoption certificates as Valentine’s Day gift
The Libearty – Bear Sanctuary Sanctuary in Zărneşti, in Braşov county, is offering bear adoption certificates as a Valentine’s Day gift.
The sanctuary caters to 100 bears and it hopes to attract more funds with this idea. The adoption certificate on offer is a general one and costs RON 140 (EUR 29). Those who purchase it will receive it in an electronic format, by email.
Paula Ciotlos, a representative of the sanctuary, explained that the offer was very well received by animal lovers.
“It is not the first time we offer it but this year it had a more significant impact,” Ciotlos told Mediafax.
The sanctuary also offers a yearly adoption certificate that costs EUR 60. Those interested can chose which bear they adopt.
Also for Valentine’s Day, animal lovers can purchase an adoption certificate for one of the dogs at the Victory Shelter. The certificate costs RON 140.
