Dutch aluminium producer opens third factory in Romania

27 June 2017

Aluminium producer Prolyte Products, part of the Dutch group Prolyte, opened a new production plant in Piatra Olt, Olt county in southern Romania.

The company has used a RON 15.7 million (EUR 3.4 million) loan from Romanian state-owned bank EximBank.

The new production plant was inaugurated last week, one year after the group opened its first factory in Piatra Olt, with an investment of over RON 18 million (EUR 3.9 million). It was part of a project co-financed with EU funds, with the support of EximBank.

With the new plant, Prolyte Group has reached three production units in Romania. The first one opened in Slatina.

Prolyte group's factories in Olt county delivered metal scenes and sceneries for shows such as Eurovision, or concerts held by Andre Rieu and Robbie Williams in Bucharest.
