Seaside resorts are among favorites for Romanian families with kids, either domestic destinations, or abroad in Bulgaria, Turkey, Crete or Spain, according to Paralela 45 travel agency.

The average budget for a summer holiday in Romania stays between EUR 370 and EUR 470 per family, while for holidays abroad, they spend between EUR 850 and EUR 1,150.

Those with children up to 5 tend to choose Romania, and the rest go abroad. Among local destinations, the Mamaia resort remains a favorite. In Bulgaria, Albena is the favorite for families with children.
