Andrei studied finance at the Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies and started his journalism career in 2004 with Ziarul Financiar, the leading financial newspaper in Romania, where he worked for ten years, the last six of which as editor of the capital markets section. He joined the Romania-Insider.com team in 2014 as editor and became Editor-in-Chief in 2016. He currently oversees the daily content published on Romania-Insider.com and likes to stay up to date with everything relevant in business, politics, and life in Romania. Gheorghe Hagi - “The Maradona of the Carpathians”, as he has been labeled by the media, is seen as the greatest Romanian football player of all times. He was the first Romanian who has played for European top clubs such as Real Madrid, Barcelona and Galatasaray. Through his outstanding dribbles, vision, execution of pass and shots from distance, he managed to impose himself as one of the world’s best players alongside Maradona or Pelé.

The Rasnov citadel has been re-opened after a year of renovation works, although the revamping was not entirely finalized. Tracks have been secured within the citadel, which will be opened for public for free during August. During September, the price of an entry ticket will be of RON 10 for adults and RON 5 for kids.

The consortium which has created Romania's tourism brand, included the logo which triggered questions due to its similarity to another logo which was sold on the Internet, has reacted quickly to the Romanian Tourism Ministry's request for explanations. THR offered to show all the paper drawings and the intermediary designs used in the creative process and even offered supplementary design works on the logo, should the Romanian tourism Ministry ask for it.

The Romanian Tourism Ministry has asked the consortium made of THR Asesores en Turismo, Hoteliere e Recreation and Taylor Nelson Sofres to come up with an answer to the recent media reports pointing out to the similarity between one of the elements of Romania's tourism logo and anotehr logo which was on sale on the Internet.
