Deutsche Telekom’s results continue to decline in Romania

Telecom operator Telekom Romania, part of German Deutsche Telekom group, recorded total revenues of EUR 226 million in the first quarter of this year, down by 1.7% compared to the same period of last year.

The operating result EBITDA also went down by 10.8%, to EUR 33 million, according to Deutsche Telekom’s quarterly report.

The number of mobile clients went down by 3.5% between March 2017 and March 2018, to 5.24 million, and the number of fixed lines dropped by almost 6%, to 1.82 million. However, the number of fixed broadband customers increased by 2%, to 1.21 million, and the number of TV clients also went slightly up, to 1.46 million.
