A concert in the memory of the late British singer Amy Winehouse will be held in George Enescu square in the Romanian capital city Bucharest, on August 23, at 20:00 hours. Romanian singers Paula Seling, Rona Hartner and Maria Radu will perform their own versions of Amy Winehouse’s songs. After their concert, at 21:00 hours, people can see the screening of the show „I Told You I Was Trouble: Amy Winehouse Live From London (2007)”.
British singer Amy Winehouse was found dead last month in her London flat. Winehouse’s last public appearance was when she joined goddaughter Dionne Bromfield on stage during the iTunes festival earlier during the week.
The singer had canceled the show scheduled for August in Romanian capital city Bucharest, after appearing drunk on stage in Belgrad, and after canceling the European tour altogether. She was supposed to perform in Bucharest on August 15.
