Colliers International Romania, one of the biggest real estate consultancy firms on the local market, has named Laurentiu Lazar as its new managing partner.

He replaces Ilinca Paun, who has been managing the company since 2010. Ilinca Paun will remain a member of the board at Colliers Romania and will focus on her activity at Entrepreneurship Academy, where she will operate as CEO.

The management change will be effective as of March.

Laurentiu Lazar is senior partner and director of the valuation and investment departments at Colliers International Romania. He has over 11 years of experience in real estate, in valuation, consultancy and investment. In the past 5 years, the valuation team he led assessed properties with a total value of approximately EUR 35 billion. Moreover, starting 2015, the investment department closed transactions with a total value of over EUR 500 million.

In his new role, Laurentiu Lazar will coordinate the commercial and administrative activity of the company and will engage in developing the internal culture.

In 2017, Colliers International Romania had a total turnover of over RON 28 million (EUR 6.1 million).
