Coface opens IT development center in Bucharest
Credit insurance and debt collection company Coface Romania will open an IT development center in Bucharest at the beginning of April. The center will employ 80 people, the company announced on Wednesday, March 29.
The company is looking for people with experience in software technologies such as AngularJS, PhoneGap, Spring MVC, Jackson, JSF, Struts.
The group has looked at several countries in the region before selecting Romania for this IT center. The company’s mature operations in Romania and the existing pool of IT specialists with good English skills have weighed in the final decision to choose Bucharest, according to Eugen Anicescu, country manager Coface Romania.
Coface is present in 100 countries, has 4,300 employees and a turnover of EUR 1.4 billion in 2016. The company’s hardware infrastructure is concentrated in a single data center, located near Paris.
