Bulgarian micro-credit provider iCredit plans to open 15 new offices in Romania

Bulgarian non-banking financial institution Easy Asset Management IFN, which grants short-term loans under the iCredit brand, wants to open 15 new offices in Romania this year and hire another 500 consultants.

The expansion on the Romanian market will bring the number of employees up to 1,500 in 90 regional offices across the country by the end of 2017, making the company one of the largest employers in the financial sector.

"Our 2017 plans to grow our business by opening over 500 new jobs and expanding our network is aligned with iCredit development strategy for Romania and will have a meaningful impact across the country by providing access to better financial products and services to the customers. iCredit currently maintains a portfolio worth over EUR 18 million, with a team of over 1,000 professionals working at the company’s headquarters in Bucharest and 76 offices across the country", said Goran Arsov, CEO of iCredit Romania.

The company plans to increase its turnover by 40% this year. Its loan portfolio is expected to go up by 45% up to EUR 30 million, Arsov said.

Easy Asset Management is part of the Bulgarian group Management Financial Group.
