Bucharest hosts “largest gym class” sports festival this weekend

The sixth edition of the Largest gym class (Cea mai mare ora de sport) fitness and sports festival will take place in Bucharest on Saturday, June 4. The event is part of the Exercise is good (Miscarea face bine) national program powered by sport television Dolce Sport and supported by Telekom Romania.

The event will start at 09:00 and will take place at the Arcul de Triumf National Rugby Stadium. Its program includes three sections: free fitness classes (for 12 hours), the largest 100m relay race (12 hours), and TriKids (competition for children and families – running, duathlon, and family fun run).

The participants can attend free fitness classes, which will include Zumba, Kangoo, street dance, Steel Programs, Khai Bo, Rebound, and Functional Training. The classes start at 09:00 and will end 12 hours later, at 21:00. Find the program here.

Also, those who like running will have the chance to test their limits in the 100m relay. The start will be given at 09:00 and the last runner will end the race at 21:00. Those interested can register here.

The TriKids will comprise three tests, namely the Children’s Cross, Duathlon, and Family Fun Run. Registrations can be made here.

The Largest gym class will also be organised in other Romanian cities this summer. The event will reach Brasov on July 9 and Constanta on August 6.
