The Amzei market downtown Bucharest will be reopened this spring, by Easter (April 24), following the end of revamping works which started in December 2008. The market was initially supposed to be reopened in September 2010. The new market will cover 7,000 sqm, 1.7 times more than what it occupied before the revamping works. It will include modern stands, green areas, 250 parking places and terraces around the complex. A food market will be organized in the underground floor. The ground floor will host a fruits and flowers market and the first floor will host sellers of meat and dairy products.
