American pop rock band OneRepublic comes to Romania for the first time

American band OneRepublic, one of the most popular pop-rock bands at the moment, will have its first concert in Romania next year.

The concert, which is part of the band’s world tour to promote their most recent album, which is called Native, will take place at Arenele Romane in Bucharest, on June 4, 2015. Tickets for the concert are already available on for prices starting at RON 120 (EUR 27) and going up to RON 235 (EUR 53).

OneRepublic comes from Colorado Springs, Colorado. The band was formed in 2002 by Ryan Tedder and Zach Filkins. Ryan Tedder is the group’s lead vocal, and Zach Filkins is lead guitar and backing vocal. The other three members are Eddie Fisher on drums, Brent Kutzle on bass and cello, and Drew Brown on guitar.

OneRepublic released their debut album, Dreaming Out Loud, in 2007 and its lead single, Apologize was remixed by Timbaland, becoming a huge international success.

Native is the band’s third album. It was released in 2013 and features two singles that have already become very popular worldwide: If I Lose Myself and Counting Stars.
