A woman who was working as a salesperson in a shop located on Calea Victoriei street in downtown Bucharest was stabbed to death on Thursday morning, April 28.

The police and an ambulance arrived at the scene after somebody called the emergency number 112 to announce the incident, reports local Mediafax.

They’ve found she had multiple stab wounds and tried to save her. However, the woman, aged about 30, didn’t respond to the resuscitation maneuvers and was later called dead.

The police caught the main suspect later the same day. He is the women's ex-boyfriend, according to media reports.
