World Class, the biggest wellness network in Romania, will open a new fitness center in western Bucharest, in June. The company has invested EUR 2 million in the new unit, which is located in the Militari Shopping center.

The fitness center covers a total surface of 2,500 sqm and will include an aerobics studio, a modern cycling room, and a studio that will host World Class Kids programs. The center also has a functional training area and an indoor pool.

The center will include special training programs for children between 4 and 12, including Karate and Wushu classes.

The center in Military is the 20th World Class unit in Bucharest. The network started a rapid expansion program in 2014, after being acquired by Polish private equity fund Resource Partners. World Class has been opening its centers in shopping malls, office area, and residential areas.

The company has also been expanding through acquisitions. It recently announced the takeover of Club Moving network, the second biggest player in the market, reaching 28 centers in Romania.
