The weather gets really hot in Romania in the following days

28 July 2016

Romania will experience a new heat wave in the last days of July, especially in the southern and eastern regions.

In Oltenia, Muntenia, Moldova, and Dobrogea air temperatures will rise to 36-37 degrees Celsius at noon and will not fall under 20 degrees during the night, between July 28 and July 31. People in these areas will thus experience high thermal discomfort, according to Romania’s weather service.

However, this may be only the beginning, as the first two days of August may be even hotter.

The very hot weather may be followed by summer storms and strong wind.
