Vodafone creates 150 jobs in new customer support center in Pitesti

Vodafone Romania, the second largest player in the local mobile communications market, opened yesterday a new customer support center in Pitesti.

The company will create 150 jobs for students and graduates. The recruitment process starts this month.

Vodafone Romania already operates several large customer support centers in Bucharest, Brasov and Craiova, as well as smaller centers in Iasi and Bacau. The telecom player opened its first customer relations center in 1998, said Ana Alexe, Vodafone Romania Director Customer Operations.

The company recorded over 9.45 million users last year, up over 350,500 customers compared to 2015. Its revenues amounted to EUR 178.7 million in the last quarter of 2016, up 2.8% year-on-year.
